About the Committee
This committee is appointed by the Athens County Commissioners and serves to coordinate efforts between the different entities who own and maintain the Bikeway. The Committee regularly reviews Bikeway maintenance, environmental management, promotion and enhancements, and overall use of the Bikeway in order to make recommendations to the owning entities. The Committee meets monthly except for August and January at the Athens Community Center. Meetings are open to the public and time is reserved at each meeting for public comment.
